- And Tristen, please - once again, bowing is a sign of respect in that culture. It is NOT "acknowledging another leader is ABOVE us". Please. Go to the library and read some books on Japan.

- OMG PEOPLE! If anyone wants to know why the rest of the world views Americans as arrogant, snobbish and uncultured, just read these comments. People who have NO interest in actually opening their eyes and learning about other cultures.

- Having lived in different countries growing up and experiencing different cultures and lifestyles, I have learned one thing - you cannot EVER judge someone if you haven't been in their situation - i.e. lived their life.
Is 'Where the Wild Things Are' too scary for young children?

- I think it depends on the child. My 4 year old will definitely be ok with it. Nothing scares the child. She had no issues with haunted houses, etc because she is always evaluating what's real and what's not in her head. She has never been afraid of anything, even as a toddler.

- My mom and dad both worked -both in the corporate world. Dad was a CEO of a bank and Mom headed up a department in a fortune 500 company. She earned more than my dad. Yet- we had dinner with my parents every night. It was a very rare night that we were without them.
